About the Author
I am recent undergraduate of Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I majored in Resource and Environmental Studies (B.S.), minored in International Studies and received my Water Resource Policy and Environmental Interpretation certificates.
I am the founder and former president of the WaterAid Chapter @ Texas State University. They are a great student organization that runs their own river clean ups, brings in guest speakers to their meetings, volunteers, and hosts fundraising events to raise money for local non-profits.
I have always had a love for the outdoors despite growing up in a large city. I spent four years in San Marcos enjoying the river and the simplicity of a small town in the hill country. I recently moved to Austin, TX where I am happy and proud to call home. Thanks to my parents for providing me with the opportunities to enjoy nature.
I dedicate this blog to my family and close friends, my boyfriend, and for future generations who, with our help, will have plenty of open, free, beautiful land to explore and enjoy.
